The Bathing in rivers, Catching mud fishes, making oneself warm near the fire wood, flying kites, Chasing cycle rims and many more are worth recording.
Some bitter experiences like Being insulted in front of friends, death of my best friend (my grandmother affectionately 'Budhi Nani') and the fear of Unseens were very unpleasant to me.
The mouth opening stories of my childhood are 'the stories of Amravati', 'Dasavathara' and 'Raja Harischandra'.

Oh, another special lines for me were 'ବିଲୁଆ ବଡ଼ ଚତୁର, ପଇଡ଼ ବଡ଼ ମଧୁର' . These lines will always be very precious to me as whenever my father had sung it for me, he surely had a green coconut (ପଇଡ଼) behind his back and no doubt, that was only meant for me.
