A unique programme aimed at bringing 'Learning at the doorstep', of tribal children during the COVID-19 pandemic shown positive results in the learning outcome of disadvantaged children in odisha. The programme also included a component of online classes by teachers for students who had access to internet facility.

ReplyDeleteMadhuapp is started in our state to teach mathematics to students. In this pandemic situation teachers go to door steps of students to teach them. Siksha Sanjog program is there to connect students in WhatsApp.
ReplyDeleteIn Odisha we are running with a programme named as UJJWAL for primary, UTTHAAN for Upper Primary and UTKARSH for secondary students, which aim at bringing the low achivers to the main stream. Here the course provides the basic teaching skills of the previous classes.

DeleteKalinga Sikhya Sathi Yojana(KSSY)-The Odisha Govt has come up with a new scheme named as kaliga Sikhya Sathi Yojana for the aspiring students at only 1% interest.It has been launched by Hon'ble CM of Odisha,Sri Naveen Pattnaik on 27th June 2016,This scheme has been launched to bring down the financial burden on the parents of the students who want to move forward with higher education.
ReplyDeleteDuring the Covid-19 Pandemic period our state government launches different e-learning mobile phone app like Madhu app, Sikhya Sanjog, Radio pathasala .But in remote areas network problem is there thats why its very dificult for them.So teacher's step forward door to door learning can show path to the students.

Delete"Mo School Abhijan"is an innovative and unique program of the Odisha Government which steps towards connecting the alumni to the educational platform. It encourages them to contribute for their alma mater and also the others to donate for the schools in their surrounding.
ReplyDeleteBeing launched on 14th November 2017 by sri Naveen Pattnaik the honourable chief minister of Odisha it aims at strengthening the educational environment from the grassroot level by providing funds to each school which is two times more than the amount collected from the alumni.

ReplyDeleteInnovative practice and initiative in school education in odisha state is going on for the improvement of learners. Example in odisha are ujjwal, utthan, utkarsha, mo school Abhiyan, sikshya sanjog, radio e-pathsala Broad casting, telecasting and providing app like madhu app. We teachers are going through what's app to provide students the learning text, videos, questions and answers, pictures and drawing etc. Absence of android sets and Internet creates problem for rural students for participation so we are going to their door having covid guideline to teach them individually. MO school Abhiyan is a practice in odisha that relation between Aluminy and school is possible through sharing experience, knowledge, donating land and money to school and receiving grant or assistance from state govt. Sikshya sanjog programme in odisha helping students to take online class sitting in own house due to corona pandemic

ReplyDelete1 . Library movement in primary and secondary schools.This includes,
a. Colour coding of all lib books as par age gp
b .lib corner in class room that is hanging of age appropriate colour coding books in the corner.
c. Class magazine, school magazine by the students.
d. Wall magazine in specific days.
e . DEAR program. Drop everything and read.in a specific period by all.
2. Madhu app by Dist administration. From class 5th to class 10 the all subject wise ,content wise ,topic wise videos in odia language uploaded in the app which helps in present pendamic situation.
3. Mo school program helps better participation of community.
4 . khali pada ku naa motivates all the students to wear chappal in the school.
5.water bell system encourage the students to drink water at 12.30 pm.
Ujjwal, uthaan , utkarsh are programmes continuing in Odisha for develpment of students learning experiences.

Online learning process are taking place like What's app, google meet, google classroom, zoom, etc. But places in remote areas where there is network issues, learning can be very difficult for the students. So teacher's step forward for door to door learning can show path to the students.

Our state is organising many innovative programs for the development of Schools. The programs like Ujjwal, Uthhan, Sikhya Sanjog, Madhu App., Online Trainings through Chalklit and Dikhya Apps. are very useful.
The most boosting and milestone step to create awareness and encourage interest among Aluminys and towards Schools allowing to play crucial roles in Schools development Program is the "MO SCHOOL Abhiyan".
All these can be marked as some important Developmental Activities in Schools of our State.
